About Glenn Madden
My name is Glenn Madden, and I’m the founder of Glenn Asia.
I grew up in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, USA, and later spent 10 years traveling globally installing computer networks and process control systems for Capsugel, a division of Pfizer. In 2003, life took me to Indonesia, where I’ve lived for over 22 years with my wife and family.
During this time, I’ve:
- Managed and designed custom Indonesian furniture exports to the U.S., the Middle East, and beyond.
- Built websites and digital businesses across multiple industries.
- Focused on bridging my American perspective with my deep experience in Asia to create opportunities for entrepreneurs, businesses, and global citizens.
I’ve seen firsthand how living abroad changes not only your outlook but also your opportunities. Through Glenn Asia, I want to share what I’ve learned—the rewards, the challenges, and the unique beauty of building a life across cultures.
